Important Tree Nodes
The best ascendancy order is Ricochet, Endless Munitions, Gathering Winds, and Wind Ward. You can get two extra projectiles from the Attack Mastery and the Bow Mastery on the right side of the tree. The Leech Mastery with the Clever Thief nodeis neededfor 1% life leech and1% mana leech on attacks which alsoworks for elemental damage. A Watcher's Eye jewel is also highly recommended for up to 6% life, 6% energy shield, 6% mana, 100% increased critical strike chance while affected by Wrath, and optionally 15% spell suppression while affected by Grace. At least one pierce node should be taken in the Projectile Mastery for Returning Projectile Support if you don't have another source of pierce. The Interrogation jewel gives Secrets of Suffering which makes Elemental Hit of the Spectrum cause Sapped, Brittle, and Scorch instead of Ignite, Freeze, Chill, and Shock. This is combined with the Summon Skitterbots aura which has Shock and Chill for the 15% more damage per elemental ailment on the enemy from the quality enhancement on the Elemental Hit of the Spectrum gem. The Reservation Mastery and Mana Mastery are also important forincreased mana reservation efficiency so that you can use the recommended reservation skills. This is a life build so take a healthy amount of the nearby life percent nodes for survival.
Defensive Layers
The Wind Ward ascendancy gives damage reduction per stack of Gale Force. You receive Gale Force from the Gathering Wind ascendancy along with Tailwind for increased action speed which also includes your movement speed. Elemental Hit also causes elemental ailments with Secrets of Suffering like Sapped, Brittle, and Scorched which is combined with the Summon Skitterbots aura for Shock and Chill which can also greatlyimprove your survivability.

Grace is the best defensive aura for this build and gives very high evasion. Wrath is the best offensive aura for Elemental Hit of the Spectrumbecause it gives added lightning damage and because it can be supported by a 100% increased critical strike chance while affected by Wrath Watcher's Eye jewel. Summon Skitterbots is selected to give Shock and Chill which adds two elemental ailments to the damage bonus from the quality on Elemental Hit of the Spectrum. Aspect of the Cat is free with the recommended Farrul's Fur body armour and alternates between the Cat's Stealth and Cat's Agility buff for 100% increased critical strike chance, a chance to avoid damage, and 10% increased attack speed. Wrath can be usedonce you have the increased mana reservation efficiency from the Reservation Mastery, the increased mana reservation efficiency from the Mana Mastery, and a level 4 Enlighten Support to lower the mana reservation cost of your skills.

Steelskin is the recommended guard skill for this buildbecauseImmortal Call requires you to use potions more often and Molten Shell requires very high armour to be effective.
Enduring Cry is used to provide over a 2200 life heal over one second, generates Endurance charges, gives an extra 2% increased physical damage reduction per charge, and gives 2% increased elemental resistances per charge.You should also link thenew Call to Arms gem to Enduring Cry to instantly cast your Enduring Cry on cooldown.
Summon Ice Golem givesan increase to critical strike and accuracy, 2% life replenishment on Culling Strike,kills enemies at 10% life with Culling Strike Support,and provides an additional target for enemies to attack.

Farrul's Fur
This armour is recommended for up to 100 life, Phasing, Frenzy and Power charge generation, and free Aspect of the Cat. Aspect of the Cat alternates between the Cat's Stealth and Cat's Agility buffs. Cat's Stealth gives 100% increased critical strike chance, a chance to avoid damage, and makes you harder for enemies to see. Cat's Agility gives 10% increased attack speed.
Hyrri's Ire (legacy is better)
This option gives up to 30% spell suppression, 50 dexterity, 25% increased Chill duration on enemies, and 145-200 added cold damage with bow attacks. Legacy Hyrri's Ire has much higher added cold damage if you are playing in standard.

Look for high life, high resistances, strength, and +2 to level of socketed AoE gems/increased area of effect. You should also use Eldritch Embers and Eldritch Ichors to roll increased attack damage and increased damage per Power charge.

Bottled Faith
Gives40% increased damage, consecrated ground, 150% increased critical strike chance on consecrated ground, and 10% increased damage to enemies on consecrated ground. You shouldalso use Instilling Orbs on the flask until you automatically use the flask when you hit a rare or unique enemy.
Diamond Flask
Gives100% increased critical strike chance with up to 17% increasedattack speed as a second modifier. You should also use Instilling Orbs on the flask until you automatically use the flask whenever it has full charges.
Jade Flask
Gives 1500 evasion. Try and roll Bleeding and Corrupted Blood immunity on the flaskand use Instilling Orbs on the flask until you automaticallyuse the flask whenever you are Bleeding.
Anointment
You should anoint your amulet with Divine Judgement for 50% increased elemental damage at Cassia using a Sepia Oil, Teal Oil, and Black Oil.

Soul of Solaris is the best major Pantheon power and gives 6% reduced physical damage taken when only one enemy is present, a 20% chance to take 50% less area damage, 8% reduced elemental damage taken if you haven't been hit recently, take no extra damage from critical strikes if you've been hit with a critical strike recently, and a 50% chance to avoid elemental ailments from critical strikes. Soul of Ryslatha is the best minor power andgives60% increased life recovery from flasks atlow life, life flask charges every 3 seconds if you haven't used a life flask recently, and enemies you hit have 50% reducedlife regeneration.

Tabula Rasa is a greatlevel one chest armour that has six white linked sockets. Any color gems can be linked together inside of it which allowsyou to deal much higher damage at an earlier level.You can also look for a Tabula Rasa with a high increased damage corruption which also requires level one for fairly cheap from the trade site.

Wondertrap boots can be used at level nine and give high strength, dexterity, intelligence, and movement speed for its level.
Amulet
Kurai Ward
A level five amulet that gives up to 30 strength, 30 dexterity, 100 accuracy, and 30% increased projectile damage.
Rings
Perandus Signets
You can use two level one Perandus Signets that each give up to65% mana regeneration, 65 mana, 2% increased intelligence for each unique item equipped, and 2% more experience gained.
Flasks
Quicksilver Flask
This flask can be used at level four and gives 40% increased movement speed which helps speed up the leveling process. This flask can also have increased attack speed or movement speed as a second modifier. You should use Instilling Orbs until you automaticallyuse the flaskwhenever it has full charges.
Silver Flask
This flask gives Onslaught which gives increased attack speed, cast speed, and movement speed as early as level 27 and can have increased attack speed or movement speed as a second modifier. You should use Instilling Orbs on the flaskuntil you automaticallyuse the flaskwhenever it has full charges.
Bottled Faith (use a Sulphur Flask for 40% increased damage if you can't afford Bottled Faith)
Thisendgameflask requires level 27 and gives 40% increased damage, consecrated ground, increases enemies damage taken by 10% on consecrated ground, and gives 150%increased critical strike chance against enemies on consecrated ground. You should also use Instilling Orbs on the flask until you automatically use the flask whenever you hit a rare or unique enemy.
Leveling Gems
Galvanic Arrow is the best elemental bow skill to use at level one because it givesmultiple projectiles without a support gem. You can switch to Ice Shot with Volley Support once you are level four and switchto Elemental Hit of the Spectrum and Lesser Multiple Projectile Support once youarelevel 12. Make sure and pick up a Steelskin gem once you've reached level four and have 16 strength for a defensive guard skill. Dash requires level four and should be used as your travel skill at early levels.
Upgrades
You can upgrade your bow to Death's Opus bow at level 44 and replace Lesser Multiple Projectile Support because it fires two additional arrows.Carnage Heart is the budget amulet for this build and can be equipped as early as level 20. You can also benefit from upgrading totwo Praxis rings at level 22 to reduce the mana costs of all skills by up to 16 which allows you to use utility flasks in the place of mana flasks. Many of the items in the leveling section above last all the way until the midgame where better items will become available.
